19.10.2013: Stratosphere Big Data Analytics Research Summit in Berlin on Nov 14/15

The Stratosphere Big Data Analytics Research Summit in Berlin on Nov 14/15 will take place at
Wissenschafts- und Technologiepark Adlershof
Max-Born-Hall
Carl-Scheele-Straße/Max-Born-Straße
12489 Berlin.

The audience will be developers/data analysts who would like to get a hands-on experience with Stratosphere Ozone, the newest release of the Stratosphere European Big Data Analytics System, a flagship project of the European Institute of Technology, supported by protagonists from various universities and companies around Europe through several nationally funded and European projects and company collaborations, including the collaborative research unit Stratosphere funded by DFG, which bootstrapped the entire effort and is continuing to advance big data systems research further.

Stratosphere Ozone is a new system for rich analytics of big data that can process complex iterative machine learning and data mining algorithms. Stratosphere provides a declarative language and automatic optimization and parallelization of advanced data analysis programs, enabling the deep analysis of huge data sets. Stratosphere Ozone is available open-source through support by the European Institute of Technology.
